Carolyn Racine is an upholsterer, woodworker, and educator based in southeast Michigan. She serves as Vice President of Continuing Education at Sam Beauford Woodworking, where she teaches woodworking and upholstery and is leading the expansion of the school's upholstery program. As the recipient of the 2026 National Upholstery Association Custom Workroom Conference Scholarship, Carolyn looks forward to deepening her expertise in soft furnishings, learning from industry leaders, and bringing new skills back to both her students and her business.
