with Riana LeJeune
Running a successful upholstery business takes far more than exceptional craftsmanship. It requires systems that help you win projects, streamline operations, improve profitability, and build a business that can grow.
In this National Upholstery Association webinar, Riana LeJeune, Founder & CEO of Renewabl and owner of Repinned Upholstery & Restoration, introduces Renewabl OS—an industry-specific business operating system built exclusively for the custom furnishings industry.
Developed from more than 13 years of experience operating a professional upholstery workroom and creating the nation's first Registered Apprenticeship for Professional Custom Upholstery in partnership with the Iowa Office of Apprenticeship, Renewabl OS brings together production management, business operations, financial tools, workforce development, human resources, and sustainability into one connected platform.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Standardize workflows from consultation through final installation.
- Track every project's progression with visual dashboards, including percentage-complete tracking.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities while improving accountability across the team.
- Monitor production schedules, shop capacity, and workloads in real time.
- Track labor, job costing, profitability, and key business metrics.
- Simplify estimating, proposals, invoicing, and client communication.
- Support employees and apprentices through structured skill development, performance tracking, HR tools, and workforce management.
- Log remnant fabric inventory, creating opportunities for future sales while reducing waste and supporting a circular economy.
- Reduce bottlenecks, administrative work, and costly rework through repeatable systems.
- Build a business that operates on systems instead of relying on constant owner intervention.
Riana will also demonstrate how Renewabl OS seamlessly tethers with the Renewabl app, creating a complete ecosystem for the custom furnishings industry. The Renewabl app helps businesses win more projects through photorealistic visualizations, industry-specific project estimating, and the Renewabl Registry, which documents and preserves the history of completed pieces. Once a project is approved, Renewabl OS takes over—managing production, assigning tasks, tracking project progression, monitoring profitability, organizing inventory, managing remnant materials, supporting workforce development, and keeping every aspect of the business connected.
Designed to evolve alongside your business, Renewabl OS grows with you—from solo operators wearing every hat to expanding workrooms and scalable enterprises with multiple team members, departments, and locations. Instead of outgrowing your software, your software grows with you.
Together, Renewabl and Renewabl OS create an integrated ecosystem that helps businesses win more work, operate more efficiently, increase profitability, reduce waste, preserve craftsmanship, strengthen the skilled trades, and build resilient businesses for the future.
Most importantly, Renewabl OS empowers owners to lead instead of constantly reacting. By replacing chaos with clear, repeatable systems, businesses can reduce burnout, improve work-life balance, and create an environment where both owners and employees can thrive.
Run the business. Don't let the business run you.
